In the third quarter of 2025, several travel and local apps on Android in Germany experienced notable trends in downloads, revenue, and active user engagement. Here's a closer look at the performance of the top five apps, as reported by Sensor Tower.

Blitzer.de PRO from Eifrig Media GmbH showed a consistent increase in weekly revenue, peaking at around $59.4K by the last week of July. Downloads peaked at 1.6K in early September, although there was a slight decline towards the end of the quarter, finishing at 836. Active users were relatively stable, closing the quarter at approximately 263K.

park4night - Motorhome camper saw its highest weekly revenue of about $34.9K in late July. The app's downloads peaked at 12.1K in early August, but then gradually decreased, reaching 4.2K by the end of September. Active users also saw a decline, from 256K in early August to 128K by the end of the quarter.

Flightradar24 Flight Tracker had a steady revenue, with a slight peak at $19.8K in late September. Downloads remained relatively stable, with a peak of 23K at the beginning of the quarter. Active users fluctuated, peaking at 701K in mid-August before settling at 568K by the end of September.

Outdooractive. Hike and Ride experienced a peak in weekly revenue at $14.8K in late July. Downloads saw an initial spike to 9.3K in late July, followed by a decrease to 5.3K by the end of the quarter. Active users showed a peak of 182K in early August, ending the quarter at 109K.

Finally, OsmAnd — Maps & GPS Offline reached a revenue peak of $5K in late July. Downloads peaked at 4.5K in late July but decreased to 1.9K by the end of September. Active users had a modest increase, peaking at 61K in mid-August and closing the quarter at 53K.
